Demise Anniversary of Imam Khomeini (RA) to Be Commemorated in Mali
A ceremony will be held in Bamako, the Republic of Mali, to commemorate the 24th demise anniversary of Imam Khomeini (RA).
The ceremony will be organized by the Ahl-ul-Bayt (AS) Society of Bamako affiliated to the Shia University Students of Mali.
The society has invited all Malians, especially the country’s Shia Muslims, to take part in the program and learn about the spiritual and political character of the late founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
The ceremony is slated to be held on June 3, corresponding the 23 of the month of Rajab on Hijri lunar calendar, which marks the anniversary of the Battle of Khaybar. Hence, the speakers will also talk about the bravery of Imam Ali (AS) in that battle in the early years after the advent of Islam.
