Top Quran Researcher to Be Honored at Int’l Quran Exhibition

Quran researcher and author Ayatollah Qorbani will be honored at the 21st Tehran International Holy Quran Exhibition.
This was announced by Hojat-ol-Islam Hamid Mohammadi, Quran and Etrat Deputy of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance during a trip to the northern province of Gilan.
He said Ayatollah Qorbani will be honored for his Quranic works and activities in Quranic fields. He added that it is part of efforts to introduce successful Quranic figures.
Hojat-ol-Islam Mohammadi further referred to the development of scientific Quranic activities in the country and said the deputy contributes to the trend by supporting Quranic dissertations and researches.
He went on to say that currently, some 5000 Quranic institutes are active in the country working to spread Quranic education and culture.
During his trip to Gilan, Hojat-ol-Islam Mohammadi met with the province’s cultural and Quranic figures.
