The 2nd Quran Recitation Competition to Be Held in Russia
On June 2, the second Quran recitation competition among children will be held in Engels town, Russia.
According to Imam-Khatib of the Juma mosque - Rushan - Hazrat Sayfetdinov, the competition will be attended by boys and girls from the Engels, Marxian and Sovetskii areas.
They will compete in two age categories - up to 10 years and 10-15 years.
“Sheikh Said" madrasah teachers will evaluate the accuracy and beauty of reading surah "Al-Fatiha","al-Kursi" verses and the last surahs of 30 juz, the press service of Muftiyat reports.
Winners and participants will be presented with valuable prizes and gifts.
The contest will be held in the Juma mosque of Engels town and begin at 10.00 a.m.
