24 Quran Recitation Sessions Concurrent with Int’l Quran Competition

On the sidelines of the 30th International Holy Quran Competition, 24 Quran recitation sessions will be held in Tehran and Alborz provinces.
According to the organziers of the international event, internationally-known Qaris from the Islamic Republic of Iran and Egypt will attend the recitation sessions.
They are aimed at fostering the culture of the holy Quran in society and promoting acquaintance with the Quran among the youth and teenagers.
Until June 8, 24 Quran recitation sessions are organized in mosques in the two provinces with the participation of Quran devotees.
In addition to the Iranian and Egyptian Qaris, 8 Tawasheeh (religious song) groups have been invited to perform Tawasheeh songs in these sessions.
Organized by the Awqaf and Charity Affairs Organization, the Islamic Republic of Iran’s 30th International Holy Quran Competition started in Tehran on May 31 and will run until June 7.
