Summer Quranic Courses Begin in Karbala

Quran teaching course for the summer were launched in Karbala on Thursday, May 30.
Organized by the custodianship of the holy shrine of Imam Hussein (AS), they are held in the holy mausoleum for boys.
They are aimed at enhancing teenagers’ acquaintance with the Book of God and the Household of the Holy Prophet (PBUH).
The organizers say 1600 students are taking the Quranic courses, the information dissemination website of the custodianship of the holy shrine reported.
According to the report, similar Quranic courses have started at Imam Mahdi (AS) Place in Karbala for girls with the participation of 800 students.
The summer Quran teaching courses are held every year in Karbala and elsewhere in Iraq by the custodianship of the holy shrine.
