Imam Khamenei Condoles Demise of Ayatollah Taheri
Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Imam Khamenei issued a message of condolence over the demise of Ayatollah Seyyed Jalaleddin Taheri Esfehani.
According to the website of the Supreme Leader’s Office, in the message His Eminence expressed his condolences for the passing of the cleric to his devotees and especially to the bereaved family.
Imam Khamenei noted that Ayatollah Taheri was the first Friday prayers leader of Isfahan after the victory of the Islamic Revolution and that one of his sons had achieved martyrdom.
The Supreme Leader wished Divine mercy and exaltation and eternal salvation for the cleric and his martyred son.
Ayatollah Taheri died of respiratory complications on Saturday, June 1.
