Quran Memorizers Honored in UAE
A number of memorizers of the Holy Quran’s verses in Ajman city of the UAE were honored at a ceremony on June 2.
According to IQNA’s branch in Dubai, the program was held with the participation of officials and representatives from the UAE’s General Authority of Endowments and Islamic Affairs.
Following the Quran recitation, 30 memorizers of the Holy Quran were honored by the officials.
The Quran activists were from among those who managed to win the first to the sixth ranks at the regional and international Quran competitions.
Ajman is one of the seven emirates constituting the United Arab Emirates. With an area of just 260 square kilometres (100 sq mi), Ajman is the smallest emirate by area.
