Maintaining Unity & Solidarity, Main Need of Muslim World Today
Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Imam Khamenei said maintaining unity and solidarity is the most important need of the Muslim world today.
Imam Khamenei made the statement on Friday, June 7, in a meeting with the country’s officials and ambassadors of Muslim states to Iran. It was held on the auspicious occasion of Mab’ath, the anniversary of the day when Mohammad (PBUH) was appointed as the last messenger of God.
His Eminence said that the most urgent duty of the Muslim Ummah in the current conditions is remaining vigilant and knowing the Ummah’s roadmap as well as the enemy plots.
“The enemy’s main scheme is creating discord and conflicts among Muslims. Therefore, the most important need of the Muslim world today, is unity, solidarity, cooperation and rapport.”
Imam Khamenei referred to the oppositions and troubles made against the Divine messengers’ call to the truth, saying that such opposition and hostility were most intense against the Holy Prophet of Islam (PBUH).
His Eminence said that in today’s world, too, there is opposition and enmity against the call of Islam. “After non-divine calls such as those by Marxism and Liberalism failed to bring salvation for humanity, hearts and eyes are inclined to Islam today. That is why enmity with Islam, as the focal point of the idea of justice-seeking and human dignity, is so intense.”
The Supreme Leader referred to desecration of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) as an example of such enmities, underlining that one cannot imagine insults to Islam and acts of Islamophobia occur without planning and support from world powers’ intelligence apparatuses.
His Eminence stressed that Muslims must stand against hostilities to the message of Islam, as the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and all Muslim faithful in history did.
Imam Khamenei underscored the necessity of Islamic insight and knowing the Ummah’s roadmap as well as the enemy’s scheme, adding that Muslim nations, politicians and elites should know the enemy plots in order to confront them.
