Year’s Quranic Budget Coming to 6000 Billion Rials
Head of the Majlis’ Quran, Etrat and Prayers Fraction said the Majlis has approved 6000 billion rials for this year’s Quranic budget.
Speaking to IQNA, Dr Laleh Eftekhari said the Majlis also decided to maintain the law allowing free study in universities and higher education centers for Qaris and memorizers of the entire Quran.
She half of the year’s Quranic budget will go to organizing Quranic programs and activities and the rest will be allocated for fulfilling the objectives of the Charter for Developing the Quranic Culture, including the training of 10 million memorizers of the Holy Quran.
Eftekhari hoped that allocation of the Quranic budget will improve the conditions for implementing Quranic activities in the country.
