Educational courses have begun for pilgrims who are going to perform Hajj this year, an official with the Supreme Leader’s representative office in Hajj said.
Hojat-ol-Islam Hamid Ahmadi, director of the education department of the office’s cultural deputy, also told IQNA that so far 500 batches have been formed and 500 clerics have been designated for the batches of pilgrims.
He added that the clerics have received packages containing educational instructions as well as policies.
Asked about an increase in the Hajj quota, he said there has been no increase in the quota so far and that if there is one, there is readiness for appointing clerics for the newly formed batches.
The Hajj is the largest annual pilgrimage in the world. It is obligatory for this pilgrimage to be carried out by every able-bodied Muslim who can afford it.
