Leader of Hezbollah resistance movement said those who try to turn the conflict in Syria into a sectarian one are week.
Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah made the remark in a televised speech on Friday, June 14, adding that efforts should be made to prevent the crisis from becoming sectarian.
He said the US, Europe and several other countries are plotting in the region and the certain media are also in play.
“We fought the Israeli enemy when the whole world was supporting Israel. But our small number did not cause us to fear and we did not surrender. Today we are in a better situation as half of the world are with us where as in the 33-day war, only Iran and Syria were with us.”
During his speech, which was delivered on the occasion of the “resistant wounded” day, Nasrallah also praised the wounded in the resistance movement whose stories remind one of the heroisms of the resistance fighters in the 33-day war, the 1996 war and the liberation of Lebanon from Zionist occupation in 2000.
