Quran Reciters and Memorizers Honored in Afghanistan
Quran reciters and memorizers of the entire Quran were honored at a ceremony held on the occasion of birth anniversary of Imam Hussein (AS) in Herat, Afghanistan.
According to IQNA’s branch in South Asia, Shia and Sunni Quran activists attended the program, which was hosted by Ghaem-e Al-e Muhammad Dar-ol-Huffaz Center in the city.
50 Qaris and memorizers of the Holy Quran were awarded at the program held with the participation of Abdul Shakur Fallah, internationally-known Quran reciter.
Attending Quranic centers in Afghanistan, a large number of children and teenagers of the country have managed to memorize the Holy Quran in recent years.
