Imam Khamenei Meets with President-elect
Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Imam Khamenei met with the country’s president-elect on Sunday, June 16.
The meeting was held after the final results of the presidential election were announced, based on which Hojat-ol-Islam Hassan Rohani won the majority of the votes and was elected as Iran’s next presented.
According to the Supreme Leader’s office, Imam Khamenei in this meeting wished Hojat-ol-Islam Rohani success and gave him the necessary advice.
Hojat-ol-Islam Rohani won Iran’s 11th presidential election by securing over 18.5 million of a total of 36,7 million ballots counted.
With the massive participation of the Iranian people in the election, it was the realization of the political epic promoted by the Supreme Leader.
