Establishing Quranic-based University, Supreme Leader’s Quranic Demand

Quran and Etrat Deputy of the Culture Ministry said establishing Quranic-based university is the main demand of the Supreme Leader from university students.
Hojat-ol-Islam Hamid Mohammadi made the remark in a meeting of Quranic scholars and elites on Monday, adding that university students and academicians have a great role to play in promoting the Quranic culture in the country.
He underlined that the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution expects the country’s academic community to move toward training students whose aspiration is the Quran and lead the country toward a Quranic civilization.
Hojat-ol-Islam Mohammadi noted that in order to foster the Quranic culture in society, attention needs to be paid to Quranic faith, behavior and action.
He also pointed to the upcoming International Holy Quran Exhibition and said this year’s exhibit aims to develop the Quranic culture in all aspects.
Head of the 21st International Holy Quran Exhibition stated that this year’s exhibition will be held much better than previous years, especially in terms of its content.
The exhibition is slated to be held at Tehran’s Imam Khomeini Mosalla (prayer hall) from July 4 to August 4.
