Al-Hakim Congratulates Imam Khamenei on Iranian Nation’s Political Epic
Head of Iraq’s Supreme Islamic Council in a message congratulated Imam Khamenei on the Iranian nation’s great political epic in the June 14 elections.
In his message, Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakim said Iran’s presidential election that was held in an atmosphere of candidness and transparency demonstrated the power and greatness of an Islamic country, Buratha news agency reported.
He said the election once again showed the Islamic Establishment’s respect for the will and preference of the nation.
“This election reflected the Iranian nation’s trust and faith in the path of the Islamic Revolution and its accomplishments as well as their steadfastness on the path of the revolution under your judicious leadership. It enhanced the power and dignity of Islam and Muslims, especially the Muslim nation of Iran.”
In a separate message, Al-Hakim had previously congratulated Hojat-ol-Islam Rohani on his winning the presidential election.
