Electronic Terminals for Donations will Be Set in Kazakhstani Mosques

Terminals for donations “Sadaqa” will be set on the territory of the Kazakhstani mosques, Tengrinews.kz reports with the reference to the head of the Agency of Religious Affairs - Kairat Lama Sharif.
"Agency in order to increase public confidence to the Islamic administration recommended to Muftiyat of Kazakhstan to develop mechanisms for ensuring transparency of financial and economic activities of the mosques. In particular, the Spiritual Board showed interest and carefully studied the proposed project of electronic terminals for cash payments "Sadaqa","- said the official.
Lama Sharif also said that there are 3244 religious buildings in Kazakhstan, most of which are the mosques – 2320, as well 492 islamic and 15 Orthodox Church prayer rooms.
