ISESCO Holds Summer Courses on Quran Memorization in Kosovo
Summer courses on memorization of the Quran and Hadiths started on Sunday, June 16, in Pristina, capital of Kosovo.
According to Vetogate website, the Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO) sponsors the courses in cooperation with Sheikh Abdul-Qader Al-Arnawut Cultural Center.
6 Quran experts specializing in Arabic language, Quranic sciences and Hadith are teaching the courses.
The program is in line with ISESCO’s efforts to enhance the role of Muslims’ cultural centers in non-Muslim countries.
The courses aim to promote the Islamic culture and values among Kosovo’s Muslims, who had been denied access to Islamic sciences for years in the past decades.
