This was announced by director of the Quran TV Hassan Garousi who said that implementing the plan will continue through September.
He said it is carried out on the occasion of the 1447th year after the revelation of the Quran to the Holy Prophet’s (PBUH) heart.
“Last year, the plan was held featuring the 30th Juz (part) of the Quran,” he stated. “Over 5 million individuals took part in the plan from across the country. This year, it will feature the 29th Juz of the Holy Book.”
Garousi noted that Quran competitions and educational courses will be held on the sidelines of the plan.
“They include competitions on messages of the verses in the 29th Juz, internet and SMS contests and competitions for children and teenagers.”
He went on to say that the plan’s courses are held in different places, including Dar-ol-Quran centers and mosques.
