Quran Competition for University Instructors Begins in Babol

The 3rd Quran Competition for University Instructors began in the northern city of Babol on Saturday, June 22.
According to a report by IQNA’s Mazandaran branch, university professors and academic board members of the country’s public and non-profit universities are attending the contest.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Chancellor of Babol Industrial University Asgar Janalizadeh welcomed the participating Quran reciters and memorizers as well as the jury members and said hosting the event was an honor for the university.
He said 100 academicians have made it to the 3rd edition of competition after taking preliminary exams in different categories.
Janalizadeh also noted that the competition is held in the categories of Tarteel and Tahghigh recitation and memorization of the Quran as well as two written categories.
