“Mourning for Imam Hussein (AS), A Global Movement” Published in India

A book entitled “Mourning for Imam Hussein (AS), A Global Movement”, by Dharmendra Nath has been published by Iran Cultural Center in India.
According to IQNA’s branch in South Asia, the author is an eminent Hindu poet and literary figure who, like his father, grandfather and uncle, is devoted to the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and Ahl-ul-Bayt (AS).
He has written the book in 14 chapters discussing the concept and the reason for mourning Imam Hussein's (AS) martyrdom, it’s importance and history and mourning rituals in different countries.
Chapter seven of the book investigates the history of mourning in various parts of India such as Deccan, Ode and Hyderabad.
The 454-page book in Urdu language also includes a glossary of idioms and rituals of mourning.
“Mourning for Imam Hussein (AS), A Global Movement” has been published with the cooperation of Al-Huda International Publications based in Tehran.
