Quran Memorizers Honored in Kyrgyzstan

Some 38 memorizers of the Holy Quran were honored in a ceremony at the Central Mosque in Bishkek, the capital city of the Republic of Kyrgyzstan.
According to IQNA’s branch in Central Asia, the program was organized by Kyrgyzstan Office for Muslims’ Religious Affairs.
The press services section of the office announced that the ceremony was attended by Rahmatullah Haji Egemberdiev, Grand Mufti and head of the religious office, Musa Haji Muhammadov, in charge of foreign relations of the office and a group of members of Kyrgyzstan’s Parliament as well as representatives from Ministry of Youth, Labour and Employment of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Ambassadors from some of Islamic countries had also been invited to take part at the program held in June 27.
