Online Int’l Photography Contest on Ramadan Planned in Oman

The 3rd edition of an online international photography contest titled “Capture the spirit of Ramadan” has been planned by Basel Studio in Muscat, Oman.

According to arisstique website, the studio announced that those interested to attend the competition should send their photos via http://www.facebook.com/RamadanPhotography.
Photographers above 18 years old from all over the world can participate at the international contest.
Photos from worshippers, holy sites, mosques, ceremonies of breaking fast and family gatherings in the holy month of Ramadan can be sent for the contest.
Top photographers will be announced in October and the first to the third rank winners will be awarded 1500, 1000 and 500 dollars respectively.
Some 100 selected photos of the contest will be put on display at www.capturethespiritoframadan.org until the next holy month of Ramadan.
A group of six internationally known proficient photographers will judge the contest and evaluate the photos based on the influence, message and quality of the photos as well as creativity and technical skills of the participating photographers.
