Quran Activists to Meet with Imam Khamenei
The country’s Quran masters, reciters, memorizers and other Quran activists are to meet with Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Imam Khamenei.
The meeting takes place annually in the final days of the month of Sha’aban and on the eve of the holy month of Ramadan.
During the meeting, the longest and most comprehensive Quran recitation session of the country is held in the presence of the Supreme Leader on the eve of the month of the Quran.
The Supreme Quran Council is tasked every year with selecting the Quran activists and the reciters in the session.
This year’s meeting is scheduled to be held on Wednesday evening, July 10, at Imam Khomeini (RA) religious center.
The meeting’s programs will include recitation of the Quran, Tarteel recitation and performances by Tawaseeh, Ibtihal, and prayer reading groups.
