Majlis Speaker Congratulates Counterparts on Arrival of Ramadan

On the eve of the holy month of Ramadan, Majlsi Speaker Ali Larijani issued a message extending congratulations on the occasion to his counterparts in Muslim countries.
According to the News Department of the Majlis, Larijani’s message was sent to parliament speakers of Muslim countries.
He said Ramadan is a precious opportunity for mulling over the important issues of the Muslim Ummah.
He underlined that in the current juncture, strengthening unity and solidarity and spreading the spirit of fraternity is the most urgent need in the Muslim world.
Larijani stressed the Islamic Republic of Iran’s parliament is ready to expand brotherly relations with Muslim states.
Ramadan, the month of fasting for over 1.5 billion Muslims around the world, will start later this week.
