Iranian Memorizers to Compete in Algeria, Jordan Int’l Quran Contests
Peyman Ayazi, a memorizer of the entire Holy Quran, will represent Iran in the 10th edition of Algeria’s International Quran Competition.
Born in 1990 in the northern city of Sari, Ayazi holds a B.A. in Quran and Hadith Sciences.
He came fourth in the latest national Quran competition held by the Awqaf and Charity Affairs Organization.
Algeria’s international Quran contest will be held in the capital, Algiers, from the 20th to 26th day of the holy month of Ramadan (July 29-August 4).
Ayazi will compete for the top prize with Quran memorizers from Muslim and no-Muslim countries.
Mohammad Khakpour, another memorizer of the entire Quran, will be sent to Jordan on July 31, to attend the international Quran competition in that country.
