Turkey's Cansuyu Charity and Solidarity Organization will be giving out 6 thousand fast-breaking (iftar) meals for the supporters of ousted Egyptian President Mohammad Morsi during Ramadan.
Cansuyu Organization Istanbul external relations representative Serafettin Mollaoglu told AA that they started helping people who break their fast in the streets of Egypt.
Noting that the charity organization will distribute iftar meals for 6 thousand people each day, Mollaoglu said the organization started giving out iftar meals for the people who stayed in Rab'a Al-Adaweya Square in Cairo during the holy month of Ramadan for Muslims.
Mollaoglu added, if need be, they could increase the number of iftar meals they have distributed for Egyptian people.
Morsi was removed from power by the military after days of protests against him in Cairo and other cities.
Tureky is angry over the army's move, describing it as a coup against the democratically-elected president of Egypt.
