Al-Hafezoun Quranic Festival Planned in Tehran
The Quran and Etrat Organization of Basij Forces in Tehran plans to organize a Quranic festival titled “Al-Hafezoun”.
Head of the organization Rahim Qorbani told IQNA that the deadline for registration for the festival is the 20th day of the holy month of Ramadan.
He added that the festival is among the few Quranic plans that will exclusively feature memorization of the Holy Quran.
According to the official, the event will be held for four age groups of under 7 years of age, 8 to 15, 16 to 50, and above 50.
He went on to say that participants in the festival will compete at different levels of memorization, from memorization of small Juzes of the Quran to memorization of the entire Quran.
