Int’l Quran Contest Planned in Moscow

The 14th edition of international Quran recitation contest in Russia will be held on September 15 in the country’s Palace of Culture in Moscow, the capital.
According to IQNA’s branch in Europe, Russia’s Muftiat Council announced that organization of the contest was discussed at a meeting with the presence of Roshan Hazrat Abbasov, deputy of Russia’s Grand Mufti.
This edition of the competition will be held by Sheikh Ravil Hazrat Ghainuddin, head of the Muftiat Council in cooperation with Municipality of Moscow, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Culture of the country.
Eminent Qaris and representatives of more than 30 countries will participate at the contest.
