Qadr Nights Celebrated in Bangkok
Qadr Nights have been celebrated by Thai Shia Muslims in various parts of the country, including the capital Bangkok.
According to IQNA’s branch in East Asia, the programs were held after the evening prayers and fast breaking ceremonies in tens of mosques in the country.
Imam Zaman Mosque, Noor-ul-Islam, Haroon, Kamal-ul-Islam, Bagher-ul-Ulum and Dar-ul-Sa’adah were some of the mosques hosting the ceremonies on the occasion.
Qadr Night, (Night of Destiny, Night of Power, Night of Value, Night of Decree or Night of Measures), is the anniversary of a very important event in Islam that occurred in the holy month of Ramadan.
It is the anniversary of the night when the Quran was revealed to the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
The Qadr nights were also marked by Iranian people residing in Thailand as well as many other Muslims all over the world.
