Quran Exhibition to Wrap up Sunday Night
The closing ceremony of the 21st Tehran International Holy Quran Exhibition will be held Sunday night, August 4.
Culture Minister Seyyed Mohammad Hosseini and head of the exhibition Hojat-ol-Islam Hamid Mohammadi will address the function, which is set to start at 9:30 P.M.
The top sections of the exhibition will be honored and winners of competitions organized by the Academic and Quranic Heroes sections will be awarded at the concluding ceremony.
The 21st Tehran International Holy Quran Exhibition kicked off on July 4, a few days before the start of the holy month of Ramadan.
The motto of this year’s exhibition was “Quran, the Style of Life” and all its sections organized their programs revolving around this motto.
It has been announced that President-elect Hassan Rohani will officiate the closing ceremony of the exhibition, but he will not be present in the function because it will be simultaneous with his inauguration ceremony.
The 21st Quran exhibition at Imam Khomeini (RA) Mosalla will welcome visitors until midnight of Sunday, August 4.
