Ramadan Quranic Courses for Shia Muslims in Russia

An educational Quranic course has been uderway for Shia Muslims in Moscow.
It has been held by Russia's Religious Department in cooperation with the Iranian Cultural Center in the country.
According to IQNA’s ICRO branch, the classes are held every day on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan with the participation of over 30 Muslims.
Principles of Tajweed and reading the Holy Quran’s verses are being instructed during the course which will continue until the end of the holy month.
There are some other Quranic courses on Tajweed, recitation and memorization of the Holy Quran’s verses held by the Iranian center during the holy month in various parts of Russia.
More than 300 Shia Muslims in Moscow, Astrakhan, Ivanovo, St. Petersburg and Tver have been attending the courses.
Shia Religious Organization of Moscow is an officially registered organization which has been involved in different Islamic sciences and Shia teachings for more than 10 years.
