Iranian Reciters in Ramadaniya Quran Recitation Sessions Abroad
Ramadaniya Quran recitation sessions have been held in different countries during the holy month of Ramadan with the participation of Iranian reciters.
According to the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization (ICRO), one of the sessions was held in Lahore, Pakistan and Iranian Qari Javad Raf’ati’s recitation was broadcast live on Pakistani State TV, PTV, whose programs are watched in over 80 countries.
Raf’ati also recited the Quran in a program held in Lahore’s Imam Hussein (AS) Mosque by Imamiya Organization in cooperation with the Iranian Cultural House in the city.
Ahmad Shafaei, another Iranian Qari who was in Moscow on the Nights of Qadr, recited verses of the Quran very beautifully in a program at Khatam-ul-Anbiya Mosque in the city.
Present at the recitation program were Iranians and Shia Muslims residing in Moscow.
In China, too, Iranian reciter Mohammad Hossein Saeedian performed brilliant recitations. He recited verses from the Holy Book in two mosques in Shanghai.
His recitations were warmly welcomed by the prayer leaders and worshipers of the two mosques.
