A seminary and university scholar rejected separation of the Islamic Establishment’s republic essence from its Islamic one.
Speaking to IQNA, Ayatollah Seyyed Mohammad Qaemmaqami said it is wrong to consider the president as the manifestation of the Establishmnet’s republic aspect and the Supreme Leader as the manifestation of its Islamic aspect.
He underlined that the Vali Faqih is the manifestation of both the Islamic and the republic dimensions of the country’s Establishment.
He further elaborated on the Seerah of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution in governance, saying that moderation is an outstanding feature in Imam Khamenei’s Seerah in governance.
“Moderation means considering the principles, values, potentials and expediencies,” he explained, adding that observing moderation is a great art as it needs creating a balance among principles, values, potentials and expediencies.
Ayatollah Qaemmaqami said the government of Vali Faqih is the realization of the cause of all prophets, adding that Vali Faqih is the absolute manifestation of spirituality in our time.
He said Velayat-e Faqih has made power and politics subordinate to religion, a special and pure religion and scholars and Faqihs, as representatives of the Infallible (AS) clarify and define.
The cleric referred to Velayat as the dominance of religion over government and the solution to all of humanity’s problems.
He pointed to the steadfast faith of the Supreme Leader in God’s promises and said no one is more hopeful than the Supreme Leader because he is the Vali of God and there will be no impasse in his work.
Ayatollah Qaemmaqami also noted that despite what the superficial minds might think, the Islamic Republic of Iran is not one based on charisma or individualism, but it is an establishment run by intellectuality.
