“Bismillah” Posters on Display in Russia

An exhibition of “Bismillah” (in the name of God) posters has been held on the occasion of Eid Al-Fitr at Iran’s Cultural Center in Moscow, Russia.
According to IQNA’s ICRO branch, the opening ceremony of the exhibition was addressed by Abuzar Ibrahim Turkaman, Iranian cultural attaché in Moscow, who said that the exhibition has been organized with the aim of introducing Iranian culture and art to the Russian society.
Gonadi Avdif, Russian Iranologist, also congratulated all Muslims, particularly Iranians, on the Eid and said that the occasion is a good opportunity for holding the exhibition.
He expressed hope that the artworks presented at the exhibition will open a new window for the Russians to become more acquainted with Iranian Islamic culture, civilization and art.
Valeria Korovina, an artist who has also put on display one of her works, showing Bismillah, at the exhibition thanked the Iranian center for organizing such programs.
Margarita Karatigina, deputy of Moscow conservatory in international affairs, considered harmony and tranquility as special characteristics of Iranian Islamic art which also manifest in Iranian Music and painting.
The exhibition showcases 25 artworks created by Farhad Rahim Gharamaleki, Davood Deldar, Sa’eed Davari and Sa’eed Rahimi, Iranian graphic and design experts.
The exhibition, which has been held in cooperation with Boof Art Group in Moscow, will continue for one week.
