Quran Course for Women Underway in Virginia
An educational course on Tajweed principles of the Holy Quran has been organized by the Islamic Center of Fredericksburg in Virginia, the US.
According to IQNA’s branch in America, the course is hosted by Al-Taqwa Mosque of Fredericksburg city.
Women of the region attend the classes every Sunday from 3 to 4 p.m. local time.
Islamic Center of Fredericksburg (ICF) is a religious, charitable organization registered in the state of Virginia. ICF’s objective is to establish a multipurpose Islamic center that will address the needs of Muslims of all ages.
The center has announced that it will greatly complement existing Islamic facilities and meet the spiritual, social and civic needs of Muslims across Fredericksburg Area and beyond. It aims to tap the Islamic community’s potential in providing services and positively contributing to the well being of Fredericksburg Area residents.
The center offers 5 daily prayers, Friday prayers, weekly instruction classes on Islam and Arabic language, and provides Sunday school (Madrasa) for children.
