Hossein Assadi told IQNA that the centers are run either by the university’s graduates or by mnagers dispatched by Al-Mustafa University.
He said the main objective of the centers is training Quran memorizers and Quran instructors as well as conducting Quranic research studies and translating top Quranic works.
According to Mr. Assadi, the centers also hold special Quranic courses attended by thousands of individuals.
He noted that the progress of those taking the courses is assessed and if they meet certain criteria, they receive certificates.
Elsewhere in his remarks, Mr. Assadi noted that registration for the 19th Quran and Hadith Olympiad of Al-Mustafa International University will begin in early fall.
He went on to say that the managers of the university are scheduled to hold a meeting on Tuesday and Wednesday, August 13-14 in the holy city of Qom to discuss their activities and future plans.
