Islamic Art Exhibition to Open in Washington

An exhibition of Islamic artworks will open on August 30 by the Islamic Society of North America in Washington.
According to IQNA’s branch in America, the society has issued the call for attending the exhibition and those willing to participate should register and fill the application form.
Artworks including calligraphy and painting as well as ceramics and glass artworks featuring Islamic concepts will be put on display at the exhibition.
The annual event is held by the society with the aim of introducing Islamic concept in art and disseminating Islamic teachings among artists.
The exhibition will host visitors for four days until September 2.
The Islamic Society of North America (ISNA), based in Plainfield, Indiana, USA, is a Muslim umbrella group. It has been described in the media as the largest Muslim organization in North America.
ISNA's goal is "to be an exemplary and unifying Islamic organization in North America that contributes to the betterment of the Muslim community and society at large."
