Mohammad Nosrati told reporters on Tuesday that the conference will be held at Masijd-ul-Nabi Mosque on August 31.
He said 23 countries are expected to take part in the international event, adding that ambassadors of Muslim countries to Iran will also be attending the conference.
According to Mr. Nosrati, an Islamic cities exhibition is planned to be held on the sidelines of the conference for three days.
How Islamic cities diverted from their main path and how to return cities to the Islamic atmosphere will be among the main themes of discussion.
The conference will also discuss architecture in Islamic cities and living in Islamic cities, he went on to say.
Nosrati underlined that the international conference could be a venue for introducing the country’s cities, including Qazvin, to the world.
