20 Qaris to Form Iran’s Quranic Convoy in Hajj
An expert with the Awqaf and Charity Affairs Organization’s Quranic Affairs Center announced the names of the 20 Qaris forming Iran’s Quranic convoy in this year’s Hajj.
Hojat-ol-Islam Seyyed Masoud Mirian said Mohammad Reza Pourzargari, Hamed Shakernejad, Houshang Yari, Hossein Kabirpur, Seyyed Foad Shukawi, Seyyed hamid Reza Moqaddasi, Mohammad Reza Mohammadi, Hassan MNokhtari and Hashem Soltaninejad will be among the Quran reciters going to Hajj.
He added that the Shamim-e Behesht (scent of paradise) Tawasheeh group will also accompany the Qaris in this year’s Hajj.
He said Ahmad Rahimifard, Mojtaba Aliabadian, Taha Kabiri, Mohammad Reza Ruhollahi and Seyyed Mostafa Hosseini are the group’s members.
Hojat-ol-Islam Mirian added that a meeting will be held on August 21-22 at the Awqaf and Charity Affairs Organization with the participation of the Qaris.
