“Introduction to Islam” Course Planned in Singapore

A preliminary course on “introduction to Islam” will be held for new Muslims on August 17 in Singapore.
According to IQNA’s branch in East Asia, the educational course will be organized by Dar-ol-Argham Islamic Center of the region.
The participants will get acquainted with Islam and learn Islamic principles and concepts during the course.
Those who have attended the previous course held by the center on Islam are considered qualified to participate in this course.
The conference hall of Dar-ol-Argham Islamic Center will host the classes from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. local time.
In 2010, about 15% of Singapore's resident population aged 15 years and over are Muslims. 17 per cent of Muslims in Singapore are of South Asian origin.
