“History of Iran before Islam” Published in Russia
A Russian translation of “History of Iran before Islam” was published by Iran Cultural Center in Moscow, Russia.
According to IQNA’s branch in Europe, the book which is one of the valuable works in studies and researches about Iran in the contemporary era has been translated from Persian to the Russian language and published in cooperation with Iran Studies Foundation in Moscow, the capital city.
It is one of the rare works investigating the influence of the culture and language of the Sassanid period on the political, social and cultural history of Arab Muslim community.
Burris Norick, Russian researcher and Iranologist, has translated the book into Russian and provided the society of Russian researchers with an important source in historical studies and filled the gap in studies of Iran in Russia.
“History of Iran before Islam and its influences on Islamic civilization” has been published by Nochnaya kniga Publications in 1000 copies.
