National Committee of Hajj Affairs in Burkina Faso announced that an information website on Haj was launched in this country.
According to fasozine website, “committee”, “Hajj”, “guideline and advice” and “pilgrims’ guide” are the main pages of the new website.
Those willing to get the latest news and information on Haj regulations and rituals can refer to the website at www.comitehadj.gov.bf.
Programs of the committee for this year’s Hajj season have also been announced on the website and visitors can also register for the pilgrimage online.
Head of the committee said that it was necessary to launch such a website in today’s world which is the era of information technology.
Representative of Islamic associations in Burkina Faso also considered the project as an influential step taken by the committee and called all Muslims of the country to make the best use of the website.
