Special Programs on Martyrdom Anniversary of Imam Sadeq (AS) in Herat
Religious groups in Herat have planned various special programs to commemorate the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Ja’far Sadeq (AS) in Afghanistan.
According to IQNA’s branch in West Asia, the program will begin on September 2 with participation of Afghan Shia Muslims in different parts of the city.
The Grand Mosque and Sadeqiyyah Musalla in Herat will host a mourning ceremony on the occasion from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. local time.
A same program will be organized at 4 p.m. local time at Khatam-ol-Anbiya Grand Mosque inAl-Mahdi Settlement of the city.
The martyrdom anniversary of the 6th infallible Imam (AS) will also be mourned in a ceremony to be held by Muhebban Al-Mahdi group with the participation of a number of scholars, clerics and devotees of the Imam (AS).
Khadijah Kubra Grand Mosque in the 9th region of Herat will host the program after the congregational evening prayers.
