This was announced by Ayatollah Reza Ostadi, secretary of the Supreme Council of Seminaries, who told IQNA’s Qom branch that the book has been published in 8 volumes.
He said the congress in commemoration of Ayatollah Meshkini is to be held in the cities of Qom and Ardebil in the next few months.
Ayatollah Ostadi noted that the Tafsir-e Ravan has been written in a simple and easy-to-read language for ordinary people.
He noted that there are different styles used in interpreting the Quran, including literary, social, and scientific styles and the Quran by Quran interpretation but the late Ayatollah Meshkini used a special style which could be regarded as a combination of all other styles.
Ayatollah Ali Meshkini, former head of Iran’s Assembly of Experts, passed away on July 30, 2007, at the age of 86, after a long battle with a chronic medical condition.
