Polish Youth Embraces Islam

A young Polish citizen converted to Islam at the holy shrine of Imam Reza (AS) in Mashhad.
Artu Remiko, a computer engineer, embraced Islam by pronouncing the Shahada (There is no God but Allah and Muhammad is His messenger), IQNA’s honorary correspondent Hojat Rahimzadeh reported.
30-year-old Remiko said he first learn about Islam through one of his friends who is a Muslim.
He said he got curious about Islam and learned more about the religion through reading books and talking to Muslims.
Remiko said after he was convinced about the truthfulness of Islam, he decided to embrace the religion and did so in Mashhad on the birth anniversary of Imam Reza (AS).
The young Polish citizen said that today is the beginning of a new path and that he will try to develop his knowledge of Islam further.
The director of the non-Iranian pilgrims department of Astan (custodianship) of Imam Reza (AS) holy shrine was also present at the conversion ceremony and gifted a copy of the Holy Quran to the new Muslim.
