Imam Reza (AS) IT Center to Train Quran Memorizers in Cyberspace
Head of the Jameta-ol-Quran Institute said the Imam Reza (AS) IT Center will be a center for training Quran memorizers.
Speaking at a ceremony to launch the center in Tehran on Tuesday, September 17, concurrent with the birth anniversary of Imam Reza (AS), Hojat-ol-Islam Mohammad Mehdi Tabatabaei added that it will train memorizers of the entire Quran.
The ceremony began with recitation of the Quran by internationally-known Qari Mohammad Hossein Saeedian.
Then Hojat-ol-Islam Tabatabaei delivered a speech titled “Role of Media in Promoting the Quranic Culture”.
Highlighting the sublime status of Quran activists, he said the Quran is the source of Divine Teachings and guides humanity to the straight path.
He added that everyone should seek Quranic knowledge and pray God to elevate his knowledge of the Holy Book.
Elsewhere in his remarks, Hojat-ol-Islam Tabatabaei pointed to the activities of the Jameta-ol-Quran Institute, saying that it has over 10 active branches in Tehran and that inauguration of the Imam Reza (AS) IT Center has been the most important step taken by the institute.
He said with the use of media and communications capacities, the center will train Quran memorizers and reciters.
Performing Tawasheeh songs, Quran recitations by memorizers of the and a speech by Jameta-ol-Quran Institute and a speech by Ali Jafarpisheh, head of the center’s media and IT department, about the objectives of the center wee among other parts of the program.
