Speaking in the city of Al-Rifaei on Saturday, he said Shias, Sunnis, Christians, Saebis and followers of other religions should all work to uphold unity and solidarity, Sawt Al-Iraq website reported.
Al-Maliki stressed the enemies of Iraq should realize that the country will not return to tribal and sectarian biases.
He said with the collapse of the former regime, horizons opened for all Iraqis to gain their rights and dignity returned to the country.
