Islamic University of Moscow works to Confront Iranophobia

Chancellor of Moscow Islamic University said fighting Iranophobia and anti-Shia views is on agenda of the university.
Dmir Khayruddinev made the remark in a meeting with Iranian Cultural Attaché Seyyed Hossein Tabatabaei at the Iranian cultural center in Moscow.
The two officials discussed ways for expanding scientific and cultural cooperation and establishment of an Iran chamber in the university.
They also agreed to hold a joint forum at the university to promote proximity of Islamic schools of thought.
Tabatabaei in this meeting described the approach of Moscow Islamic University under the management of Khayruddinev as constructive and in line with development of cooperation with Iran.
He also stressed the need for elevating the level of religious knowledge of preachers an d prayers leaders of mosques in Russia.
