Islamic Republic Mus’haf to Be Distributed among Hajj Pilgrims
The Islamic Republic Mus’haf (Quran copies printed in Iran) will be distributed among Hajj pilgrims.
Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance Ali Jannati made the remark in an interview with IQNA, adding that some copies of the Mus’haf have been sent to Makkah.
He said more copies will also be distributed in other countries by the Islamic Republic of Iran’s cultural centers, Iranian universities abroad and the branches of Al-Mustafa International University.
Jannati said noted that the first priorities for the distribution are the countries swept by the Islamic Awakening.
Former culture minister Seyyed Mohammad Hosseini had said a few months ago that 400,000 copies of the Mus’haf had been printed in the country.
