"Quran and Europe” Forum Planned in Germany

A forum titled “Quran and Europe; Investigation of Angelika Neuwirth, German Orientalist and Quran Researcher” will be held on October 25 in Darmstadt, Germany.
According to Al-Yawm Al- Sabe’ newspaper, the city's Academy of Languages and Literature plans to organize the forum.
The theme of this event will be investigation of studies conducted by the German university lecturer and Arabic language researcher.
The academy announced that the three-day forum will also include a discussion on common European-Arabic traditions.
On the sidelines of the event, Angelika Neuwirth will be awarded The Sigmund Freud Prize of the academy, worth 20,000 Euros.
The Sigmund Freud Prize or Sigmund Freud Prize for Scientific Prose is a German literary award given by the Deutsche Akademie für Sprache und Dichtung. It was first awarded in 1964.
Moreover, the Georg Büchner Prize, worth 50,000 Euros, will be awarded to German author Sibleh Lewtcharev.
